On Monday 4th August 2014 SellMyLivestock embarked on their first dedicated farmer evening, held at Michael Griggs’ Restaurant, near St Austell, Cornwall.

The evening gave the SellMyLivestock team an opportunity to demonstrate the system and to introduce themselves to the local farming community.

Locals such as Faye Shepherd from Duchy College, Ed Humber from TB Advisory and the National Young Farmers’ Chairman, Claire Worden, were all present. Claire spoke very highly of the system and told the audience how the NYFC are backing the business.

It was a great opportunity to showcase what the team at SellMyLivestock are creating; proving that innovation is alive and kicking in the world of farming.

Jamie McInnes, co-founder of SellMyLivestock said, “What a fantastic response we had to the roadshow. It was great to see at least three different generations present at the event and it only strengthens the need to provide a more efficient, easy to use, sustainable way of working within this sector, which hopefully this website provides. I was heartened to see everyone put up their hands when I asked who had an iPhone.”

We would like to thank Michael Grigg for allowing us to use his brilliant venue, where we provided not only a very interesting presentation, but also dinner and drink for a hungry and thirsty set of farmers!
